A FAMILY BUSINESS
Carolina, my mother, and two of her siblings opened up the first Tacos El Norte in Mundelein in 1991. From there, more locations spread all over the northern suburbs of Chicago sharing the joy of Mexican food.
In 2019, nearly 30 years after opening up her first restaurant, Carolina, and her son, Diego (me) opened up this labor of love in Lake Bluff. Slowly but surely we plan to grow this delectable taqueria into a special place that will feed generations of families and friends. With the help of my three younger sisters we serve this wonderful community.
